About this activity
- The Malecon is Lima's great outdoor terrace: a pedestrian path along the cliffs with open views of the Pacific. The route is nearly flat and very easy, with parks, viewpoints and benches along the way. Cafés and ice cream shops are just minutes off the path. There's usually a coastal breeze even on cloudy days — a light windbreaker helps. Sunsets are stunning. After dark, stick to well-lit areas and use a rideshare app to get back.
